Most of us face the same challenge...but I find that if I record the "junk" that I consume that I think twice about it the next time I am inclined to do it! I try to plan out my struggling times each day and then I am more inclined to stick with the program. When I don't plan, I struggle and usually fail. Planning is my best ally.

STT58, It's great to be honest!! I know you are disappointed in yourself, however; the point is that you tracked and journaled and the that you stopped yourself from consuming anymore today. You've got this under control! Stay focused and like you stated you are drinking water.

Not wasted! Maybe by doing this you won't have the craving for a long while! If that is not the case, at least it was a lesson.

I've done the same thing, it doesn't tak a whole lot to wreck your day eating wise. I try to plan out my meals before I eat them...especially dinner. Much easier to keep on track doing that. Of course the best planning doesn't mean squat if I don't stick to it.

Oh man, it always sounds better before you eat it for sure. Here'e to a better evening and tomorrow.

"Yeah STT, We all have those days. Please don't be hard on yourself!:) Several days ago, I had the cookie munchies craving! So, I Pigged out! Oh so good at first...But the next day, I came to the revitalization that cookie's weigh more then they appear. I gained! :( My point-You are doing wonderful with your wt. loss, and You will continue to succeed with Christ's help! G.B.~Ann:)

Love the honesty. Shake the bad feelings off because tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity to make progress in many ways. Motivation, dedication, resolve and practicing new habits that support the goal you want to reach are all ways to move toward your goals. Not all of them are always available at the same time, but practicing using all of your strengths and then adding to them when you can will support moving toward your goal. Wishing you a better tomorrow.

I know the feeling and the reaction – it has happened to me countless times [and unfortunately it will again]. BUT, today is a new day with new opportunities for success. One does not win every battle while winning the war. As long as the victories outnumber the minor setbacks we will come out ahead in the long run.

I totally agree. When I plan ahead and record the calories in advance, I stick to my allowance. I try to plan dinner while I'm eating lunch. That way I'm not reacting to hunger pangs. Eating out is more difficult. We went supermarket shopping after a long drive. My husband is diabetic and needed to eat so we went into the supermarket cafe and had baked potato and tuna mayo with salad. If I'd planned this meal I would not have had the mayo or butter but, hey, it looked delicious! And it was, but now I have to cut down on dinner tonight.

It seems you didn't do that bad. You didn't eat up to your recommended calorie limit. Plus, you worked out. Just be diligent with eating clean for most of your week.
