Greeting Buddies:
Well - somebody slap me senseless! It appears the "Idiot Box" has moved once again - I am down 1.6 pounds since last Wednesday evening and I have lost 3.4 pounds in about 16 days! What the hell???
How is that even possible with all the FAT I am eating? (Today is 61% fat) Crazy, but great.
My usual work pants are starting to loosen up so I know I am losing inches which I hope to think is body fat! WOO-HOO.
Again - Well - somebody slap me senseless!

Sugar = fat bodies, Fat = slimmer bodies. Hard to believe, but sugar (and wheat) seems to be the culprit in most of our over weight bodies. At least this has been my experience. I have been successful on low carb, high (good) fat and high protein. Whatever works...

An idea - if you're doing low carb, then the fat doesn't work against you as much. Good luck. Hope if keeps up.

Dietary fat is under rated. Chancelet is right. Fat also slows down the digestion of any carbohydrates you do eat. This basically lowers the carbs glycemic index meaning less chance of insulin build up.

Have you noticed your skin is less dry and itchy in the winter weather? I couldn't believe how much better that got when I started putting more fat into my diet. That, and the fact that I wasn't obsessing about food as much between meals.

Yes - it is amazing how seldom I feel hungry - the smoothie I make and drink before the gym at 8:15am lasts until after 2:00pm or 3:00pm! Then I eat lunch with avocado, olive oil, seeds, etc, and lasts until dinner at 7:30pm!
