performance: losing 2.6 lb a week

Hi, everyone. My name is Snežana or Cнeжaнa, on English that's Snow white. I'm 30 years old and it's about time I start taking care of myself.
I had elevated blood pressure and cholesterol but now with the help of Fat Secret I have eliminated those problems.
My new goal is not to be overweight anymore.
I'm sure I'll make it this time :-)

advice needed
kushka1 I'm sorry to hear that you are disabled. Off course you can lose weight by just cutting calories. Congrats on your weight loss so far. For healthy people it is much easier to eat more but then to burn off the calories with exercise. A lot of us wouldn't do good on a low calorie diet.

Anybody know?
She is not on fat secret anymore. We were discussing it two pages long on one of her ex buddies journal post. I don't think she thought she would be missed.

Switch from worry of eating too much to worry about GETTING enough good food.
I agree with you that the breakfast and lunch should be the bigger meals and that dinner should be light. I workout in the evening after dinner, I prefer it like that . Maybe it would be better if I exercised in the morning right away but that time is reserved for showering, making my bed and preparing my breakfast. Dinner is for many people the main meal, lunch is fast food and breakfast only cereals. That's a habit hard to break.

Mix feelings
Keep yourself busy so that you don't have time for a snack. If you really just want to eat something sweet or salty you can, but only in small amounts. Just think how bad you would feel afterwards if you gave in and ate the whole box of cookies. Make the right choice and you will be proud of yourself.

how to add images or pics in my journals?
This is how you post pictures in your journal. I have copied this from the answer kingkeld gave us: "First, I need to explain that in order to post pictures here on Fatsecret, the image needs to be available online, as Fatsecret generally don't host images. There IS a group that can be used for this, but I would rather recommend that you use Imgur, which is a free photo sharing website. 1. Go to 2. Upload the picture you want to post (using the "computer" button) or paste/enter the link (using the "web" button) on the website. IMPORTANT! Before you hit the "Start Upload" button, check the "Edit Your Images" option. You will need this in a moment. Your image will now upload and will be shown in an image editor. 3. In the upper right corner, you can change the size of the image. Change the largest number to 480 (if the largest number is less than 480, just leave it untouched). The other number will automatically change to keep aspect ratio. This ensures that the image will look nice in your journal or forum post. 4. Click "Save" at the top of the web page. Your size-adjusted image will now save and be ready to use. 5. At the right side of the Imgur web page you will find a number of links. The second one (saying "Direct Link" ) is the one you need. Right-click the link underneath, and choose copy. You now have your photo ready to paste into your forum post or journal. 6. Go to, and go to the place where you want to write your text - a forum, journal, group or anywhere else. 7. Write your text, and put your cursor where you want the image to be inserted. 8. Click the little icon. The text editor will now insert a text saying "[img ][ /img]" 9. Put your cursor in between the middle brackets, right click and choose "paste". The link you copied from Imgur will now be inserted between the brackets. The finished product should look like this: [img ][... /img] NOTE! If you don't see the little icons (there is also other icons there), then click "advanced" and they should appear. 10. You're done!"
