HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
I ended my year with a 1st place finish in my age bracket in the 5K run on Saturday! My husband ran it, too, and I finished only 8 seconds behind him (26:54). Another personal best.
Today, well, of course there is cake at the office and the family baked a cake for me at home. I'm not a huge fan of cake, but I'll partake in a small slice of each for the ceremony of it. I'll make up for it by making sure I start off my new year with a good workout on my lunch hour!!!
Every year seems to be better than the last. Cheers to a new year!
