Tulipgirl6's Journal, 19 October 2014

I"m just going to report that I DID NOT eat the cheese curls.

I haven't been on here as much, but I am still checking in to see how everyone is doing. September was a very depressing month for me, but I feel like I am a bit back on track.

Hope you are all doing well dear friends! I could not survive my days without each of you!

Does that mean you didn't eat the cheese curls, or that you don't intend to log the cheese curls?

LOl; I really didn't eat the cheese curls! Sometimes I get to my max calories, and I realize that everything else is going over . . . . I found that gluten and sugar made me feel really crappy, depressed and bloated . .. . I'm not yet sure about other grains and things I consider "carbs" . . . . but with my weight training I cant go super low calorie either .. . . My strength and stability has improved tremendously, but my weight / size seem to be the same . . . . I just have to come up with a sustainable plan for long term . . . .

Glad you have the September blues behind you. Your weight/size might seem to be the same but if you are getting more strength and stability, muscles are are in play. Good for you!!

All the Halloween candy is gone......so I am not buying anymore. My house will be the sugarless tomb until i get my own BG readings in check. I can't get the new meds to work will all that candy around. Been on a fresh veggie push before the season dies! good luck tulipgirl6 Here we go again and we will kill it this time!

crap I had the cheese curls today! there is a tender spot in my heart for cheesy salty snacks unfortunately! I also just realized that I am an emotional eater. what do you do about that?

I'm a sucker for cheetos crunchy spicy ones. Almost no other of those bagged snack. I cannot have them in my house. Sorry you are making me want some. I try to pretend they do not exist. I probably haven't had any in over a year.

Dixiebelke, I buy Halloween candy on Halloween otherwise I'll eat it and then never chocolate, DumDums or something that I will not usually eat then give the leftovers to the grandkids or take them to work and stick them in someone else's candy bowl so they are not on my desk. Its usually pretty limited by then so the good stuff is gone.
