Let's see ... What do you think I should do with these grays ... They don't pay any attention to me, I started ten years ago, pulling them out, then there were too many hahaha so I started talking to them to get a deal because I don't reach 40 years old yet (in two months I will be hahaha) but they don't listen to me !!! hahahaha and they don't accept that I cover them with color !!! They say: No, out color! I'll surrender to them? my husband says they look good Lol

I started getting my gray (white) hairs when I was like 18 😩 I usually lighten my hair so it hides them (kinda) but I started to just not care recently... I actually want to go platinum and then add the silver gray color. embrace the gray!!!

You have a nice pink color in your skin tone, and I think the silver will highlight your face. ;-)

If it doesn't bother you I would stay natural. I started going silver in my teens and have never colored my hair. I am 63 yrs old now and totally silver. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am thinking I am going to add blue to my hair - my daughter left a jar of royal blue hairdye when she moved out so that is always in the back of my mind for my gray/white hairs.

if you like your self with gray ,than it shouldn't matter to anyone else.Just be who God meant you to be.My mother used to say " well child,God made you this way so he must have liked you."

I'm in the same boat. I'm phasing into that with a very fine achy blond weave.

I used to dye my hair until I became allergic to hair dye. Now I like my gray look and wish I'd gone natural earlier. I think your husband is right 🙂

There is no permanent gray hair dye, though there are temporary ones that coat the hair for a week or two before washing out.

Grey hair is in style! One salon where I live charges over $300.00 and it doesn`t even last! If you really don`t like it, you could ask your hairdresser if she thinks that adding light highlights would look good on you.

I’ve been going white/grey since I was in my late teens/early twenties and gave up.🤷🏻‍♀️ Yours is a pretty silvery color. You can either streak lighter color bleach/highlight around your face, or buy what in the States is called a Wash. It is a temporary product that can be combed in after you wash your hair that comes in colors like brown or black and will stay on and in until your hair gets wet again and coats the hair with a non permanent dye. It will bleed if you are caught in a downpour! But I’ve used it to cover up awful hair dyeing mistakes (mauve hair!)🤮

The Chinese say you can get the natural hair color back by consuming black sesame seeds every day for two years. I will know if it's true in 2019 :)

Gray hair does make a young person like yourself look a little older, but colouring is a lot of hassle, particularly if you have dark hair. If I knew then (at age 30) what I know now (at age 65), I would have stopped colouring my hair way before the gray hairs outnumbered the brunette hairs. Here is my gray hair story: I fought against the 'white skunk line down my hair part' for 30 years! I coloured it myself at home, but it was $3 per box then, and now it is ~$12-$18 per box. I kept a short haircut as it was easier to colour. As the years went by there was more and more gray. I coloured just the gray every 2-3 weeks (mixing just 1/4 of the box each time), and overall every 10 weeks, but not always. I remember about 20 years ago, dog-walking in a park with a good friend and her very sarcastic boyfriend. It was a bright sunshine day. He asked me, "Did a seagull SH?% on your head?" I won't tell you how I responded. I decided to stop colouring at age 60. It took 2 years for all the layers of hair colour to grow out and that was very tedious. For special occasions where I new photos would be taken of me, I used an aerosol colour called 'Roots Cover Up', which I was slightly allergic to as it made me very itchy. Also it stains your pillow case. My plan was to eventually bleach it so that I was an attractive white, rather than dirty gray. But now at age 65, I have now grown used to being gray and loving not having to fuss with it anymore. I now have a longer hair style, and no more colour for me! I may think differently when I have reached my goal weight, hopefully more active and with fewer aches and pains. I might want to dye it purple or pink when I am 67 just to celebrate, but it will be a temporary colour! Note: I am Canadian so I spell colour (not color) and gray (not grey)

People pay a fortune for that salt and pepper streak look! Enjoy what you have naturally! It looks really cool.

I wear my grey as a badge of honor - I blamed the children! (They take it in good fun.) Honestly, I tried dying my hair blond, but when I saw a picture of myself, I realized that blond just made me look older. A friend of mine had jet black hair with silver "streaks" like yours. She colored them magenta. It really looked cool in the sunshine, but it is a lot of work. In the final analysis, hair color doesn't matter when you are healthy. Ignore the grey, and other people will, too. My ex was a burn victim who ignored the scars and did nothing to cover them. We actually had friends who did not realize that the scarring was there! Grey hair can be like that.

I used to color my hair but about 15 years ago I decided to let it be. It now looks mostly grey but I find I like it much more than when I colored it. Be what you are and be proud of who you are!
