In August, I started a Keto Diet that uses real food. My adult weight has fluctuated greatly. More ups than downs have made me morbidly obese. Some diets have worked and some haven't. I've learned that I am Celiac, lactose intolerant, and allergic to legumes, oats, and several fruits. At least keto makes me feel better.

My father fell in love with Texas after WWII, so I grew up in South Texas. If it weren't for the tortillas and beans, tamales and pan dulce we would all be eating low-carb!

what is your goal weight, 5'3 and 5'4 ladies?
My goal weight is your current weight! This is based on my frame, which includes my bone structure and the amount of muscle I have. This is something that most people have to have measured. A simple test is to take your thumb and middle finger, and wrap them around over the wrist bone of the opposite hand. If your thumb and middle finger meet, you are average. If they overlap, you have a small frame. If they do not meet, you have a large frame. There was almost an inch gap when I did this. My husband was tiny, so I have a daughter whose fingers overlap to the first joint. She is at her correct weight at a mere one hundred pounds. If you are average, your goals are good.
