Updated profile May 19, 2019...Hello, my name is Suz , I'm 41 years old, single ,and tall (5'10). My starting wgt up there is from a few years new starting weight as of today is 288 lbs(I was 307 lbs on 4/22/19...that is hard for me to admit). This is the most I've EVER weighed! I live in Charleston, SC and have been through several stressful years. I've always gotten a lot of support from FS and hope it continues as I continue my journey as a healthier, happier me.

I lead a Ketosis (120p/80f/20c) lifestyle with Intermittent fasting (16/8), OMAD and exercise :)

I have set- up some mini goals with an ultimate goal of being around 200lbs by the beginning of 2020. Goals have always kept me focused, but I also realize that weight loss is not necessarily a speedy if I don't make a particular goal...that is okay long as I keep trying.

***GOAL 1 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 270 LBS BY July 1, 2019***

***GOAL 2 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 260 LBS BY Aug 1, 2019***

***GOAL 3 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 250 LBS BY Sep 1, 2019***

***GOAL 4 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 240 LBS BY Oct 1, 2019***

***GOAL 6 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 220 LBS BY Dec 1, 2019***

***GOAL 7 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 210 LBS BY Jan 1, 2020***

***GOAL 8 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 200 LBS BY Feb 1, 2020***

***GOAL 9 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 190 LBS BY Mar 1, 2020***

***GOAL 10 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 180 LBS BY Apr 1, 2020***

***GOAL 11 IS TO BE DOWN TO AT LEAST 170-175 (My Goal Wgt) LBS BY May 1, 2020***

I used the electronic one on my scale, but it may not be accurate...I stay extremely well hydrated drinking at least 3x the recommended amount of water a day. But as Kate is just another number...still I don't want to be one of those fat skinny

Sorry the formatting is off...the first percentages are for women and the second for men.

I am curious about body fat percentages. Right now I am 5'10" 188lbs and 37% body fat. According to a chart I found on the web...the body fat break downs are as follows:

Classification Women (% fat) Men (% fat)
Essential Fat 10-12% 2-4%
Athletes 14-20% 6-13%
Fitness 21-24% 14-17%
Acceptable 25-31% 18-25%
Obese 32% plus 25% plus

So I am obese (body fat wise, just overweight BMI wise) and will be until I hit 31%, but even then should I try to go down to 24%? I have been hitting the weights hard this past month and plan to keep lifting. I just don't have a clue on how low I should aim for??????
