Turning 50 was good but having challenges with feet/ankles that keep me from being comfortable while active. Some of that is deconditioning, some of it is just a pain (literally).

I've been able to achieve goal before, doing it again and need to not let it go this time. Prioritize me this year and stand up to the inner 2-year-old while meeting my goals.

So glad that hubby is on board with you! Not only will he feel better, but it's always good to have someone who is on the same journey. Feels less alone Smile

In my research and from my own experience, my cholesterol levels got better when I was eating eggs but limiting sugar and white (bread, potatoes, etc). Low carb for me has been good. Raised my good cholesterol, lowered my bad. When I go "off", I see it rise.

National Chain Restaurants
Sometimes Cracker Barrel can have great options also. They used to have a section that really spelled out the low carb options but they have been willing to modify (leave off buns, change out veggies) for me when I've asked.
