11/17/19 I'm65F,on&off this site.Weight issues as long as I remember."yo-yo" dieter.Last few yrs it has been up.Highest 198# I feel best 138.Tried many WOEs Lately my wt stays at a high(160-165). Even when I watch what I eat&don't overeat, eat good. I really need to keep portions under control & not eat late. Friends say not to loose. I feel better at less & need to get the weight off for ME. I was caregiver for my dad Parkinson &mom/Alzheimer. In 2013 my dad passed & 2016 my mom passed. She was my best friend.I miss them. I have a FT stressful job & had difficult times but there were things I had to go through to be where I am & it worked for the best. I am moving on with my life & doing the best I can for me! I heard something that stuck with me,failure is an event it is not who you are & if one dream falls through dream another one that is not the end of your story It has been awhile since I've been here & looked at those quotes but today it was NECESSARY for me to see them. Another one that was from a movie but surprisingly it was said by our visiting pastor in response to "It is impossible" came the response "It IS NECESSARY" which hits me more than I'm Possible(play on words)which I also like. It is TIME FOR ME. Or as the Diana Ross song when "This is MY time"
Years ago my up/down&slow wt loss would have discouraged me But now even if it creeps down, then up, then down. It is me & I am being true to me! I am planning on making some big life changes in the next few months & in 2020. I feel it is time & is where I want to be :-)

started back on TRUE WOE August 2014 172 until August 2016 164 Up&Down
July2017 171.5 Dec2017 166, Mar2019 166, Oct2019 162
My weight loss ticker doesn't work, it is stuck on 174# and won't go down when I weigh, so that is why I'm keeping an update on my signature

exercise for very overweight lady
do you have access to a pool? The Y or other health facility with a pool? I would think that would be good and not stressful.

Anthony William Book Medical Medium & Life Changing Foods
Anyone familiar with Anthony William and his books Medical Medium & Life Changing Foods? I am going to follow the 28 day fruit & Vegie program and was wondering if anyone else has done it? It would be neat if there was a group for the "diet" listed here.
