Once more from the top!
As a 59 year old female who has struggled with prednisone weight for past nine years I found the “switch” that turned on my determination to get well last year. I had a total hip replacement in July and the recovery was pretty awful. So bad I didn’t feel much like eating and that helped break my sugar addiction. Yes, it is a sugar addiction. What has worked for me was to keep a journal and write down literally everything I ate and water intake and daily, yes daily, weight down to the ounces. I started at 220 July 12th and today am 165 and still losing. I’m 5’9 so 145 is the goal. The forced accountability of physical therapy in addition to getting up and havin a protein shake to start my morning and heading right out the door to walk has kept me going. Accountability is key. I only just discovered this website and I love it. There are days I don’t want to eat but can see I need more protein for example. I also quit water and food intake generally by 6 pm. I hope this helps. I have some other health issues but this new moibility and lighter body makes me feel like I can do anything. I truly hope this helps you. Write it down or use the fat secret and input everything as soon as you consume it. Require yourself to move every day. My physical therapist said: motion is lotion and boy was she right.
