Daily Reminder
When the world says, "Give up," Hope whispers, "Try it one more time." ~Author Unknown
September 19, 2016 - This is where I was:
Overweight.
Poor water intake.
Poor eating habits.
Little to no real cardio exercise.
I made a decision - I had 385 days to be a different person (inside and outside) by my birthday in 2017. I created an album on my social media page: 385 days till 48. I added photos of meals and/or workouts there. This album was not/is not a secret to my over 500 friends. They see it and are incredibly supportive, to the point of asking me how I am doing what I'm doing. I even post my results, which diligently started in March 2017 with 21 day fix nutrition - portion management and water intake. I do a variety of exercises, elliptical, walking the dog, walking in place, Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, 21 day fix, Tai Cheng, Skimble,...and I adjust my portions if I do not workout, I get less. If I do workout and it's a heart pumping, sweatfest, I get a bit more. I have the 21 day fix app on my phone and I meal plan.
My spouse and I shop together and work really hard on eating clean. We are a team, with each bringing their personal attention and dedication to get out of the labyrinth.
The Plan:
Applying nutrition skills, moving more, & positive affirmations to find a path out of this intricate labyrinth.
Overall Goals:
number goal (179-185).
clothing goal (size 12/14).
MEASUREMENT GOAL:Chest 37"/Waist 29"/Hips 39"
Priorities
You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage — pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically — to say "no" to other things. And the way to do that is by having a bigger "yes" burning inside. The enemy of the "best" is often the "good." ~Stephen Covey
You never fail until you stop trying. Keep trying!
