an over the hill retired male...69 years young..but old as dirt...still a kid inside...a repeat member...a great site that works if you apply what you learn..and you dont eventually give back into old unhealthy eating habits..

in 2007..back then i went by loosinisfun..on my first attempt here ..my weight was up to 374..i lost 74by
pounds my first year back in 2008 and it stayed off till 2015....i walked my weight off back then..

2016..
now 8 years later i ride a trek emonda sl 6 carbon road bike for my daily exercise..when its nice out..and on bad days i ride a cannondale mounted to a kinetic smart road trainer inside for bad days, cold days and winter months..

On Friday April 13th...had major bicycle accident..3 out of 4 tensions in rotary cuff torn, bicep muscle torn, and shoulder blades..had to be re adjusted...all of this done on May 29,2018......taking therapy 3 times per week..and have slowly been finding my bike/trainer on zwift...

I also use my fitness pal because I like the better stats when I do my zwift rides...I use the same nick there...if you should go looking for me..

IL miss my friends..that are still here..and the ones that succeeded .....but I feel myfitnesspal better serves my needs as I grow...

EXERCISE QUESTION
i ride my road bike on a trainer and use a program called zwift..it in turn transfers the stats to strava..i noticed that the stats i get from strava are usually about 1/3 of what fs says...and i trust the stats from strava more then fs...fs seems to over compensate for the numbers in their exercise part of the plan...my 2 cents..

changing routines from time to time is a great way of shocking the system..i do hit workouts on my road bike...

or in your case...you can teach em till they get irritated with you...they just have to learn on their own..an eventually the light bulb will go off...and it will be an ahhhh haaa moment...
