Breakfast Smoothie (Non Dairy)
High protein, yummy breakfast option that is easy to prepare and especially ideal for Fat Flushers.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place cup of raspberries, cranberry juice, water and flaxseed oil into blender.
- Add 1 scoop or 2 tablespoons of whey-based protein powder (vanilla flavor tastes best) to the other ingredients.
- Blend until smooth - it will taste very creamy even though no milk or dairy products are used.

Just a note... I make a little extra and freeze 1/2 to 3/4 cup in dixie/disposable 4 oz cups. If the smoothie is still pretty thick, you can stick a broken in half chop stick or a cut in half straw into it. This is great in the afternoon when I come home after work and need a quick pick me up. I feel like I really have something to put in my mouth and it's delicious!!

Whey protein is from milk therefore it is not non-dairy. A vegetable based protein can be substituted for those that can't handle the dairy

You can purchase lactose-free whey protein. You can find recommendations in the book, The FF Plan. You can also add your ground flax seeds for an extra boost.

If I want a real treat, I throw in a packet of stevia. Very delicious and decadent.

My sons and I enjoy a smoothie everyday. They put a half of banana in theirs with a half serving of another fruit, usually strawberry and the banana makes it extra creamy especially after being in the freezer; almost like ice cream!
