I have lost approx 40lbs in the last few years, although the exact amount is debatable as i used to refuse to weigh myself! Most friends/family believe it's actually closer to 50-60 lbs lost so far over about a 10 yr period, but i count from where i started actually doing weekly weigh-ins.

I was a WW for years & then decided for health reasons that i wanted to see more specific nutritional info...not just points. It's difficult to translate WW points into exact calories and nutritional info without doing double the work, so joined FS & then eventually quit WW simply because i got tired of entering all on two websites!

FS has been a great eye-opener as to what nutrients i am actually taking in and has allowed me to slowly (and continuously) modify my diet and exercise as i feel is needed...and as my will power allows! I can make better choices simply put.

I have about 75 more lbs to go....keep on plugging away is my motto and eventually i will get there because quitters NEVER win!

LMAO....that has happened in a few of my Bikram yoga classes before & thank god it was not me! But then the entire class is stuck in the hot steamy room with it - LOL! We try to be adults, but it really does make one chuckle inside...except for the poor soul that ripped it! Ha ha!

I used to be a hot yoga junkie myself and that's how i lost the majority of the 40lbs lost so far, but was knocked out of the exercise game about 4 months ago due to a fall while babysitting - those 2 year old nephews are fast! LOL!

Problem is now that my chiropractor and foot doc have said i can get back into exercising again - lightly....i am not confident i can handle the hot yoga again just yet! I miss it so bad, but it does take a bit to get used to in the beginning and i am still a bit restricted w/my right foot! Anyone think i should just go for it and see how it plays out? My biggest fear is not modifying the poses if needed, but the heat! I have been doing about 600-1000 cals per day & fear i may go down or have to leave the class before fainting - LOL!

Classify this exercise, PLEASE!
I agree...mixture of standing and housework. I have noticed some activities not in the exercise list myself, so have just tried to pick one that closely fits the amount of exertion expended....not sure how to add "other".
