I'm 52 years old and started gaining weight when I was dx with fibromyalgia, lupus and ddd 4 year ago. I was an avid exerciser and couldn't do it anymore because of the pain and fatigue. Between that and menopause the weight started piling on. I have managed to take off about 35 pounds since the beginning of the year but have really struggled the last few months. I was seaching on my blackberry for a diet app and stumbled on this one. I believe it's just what I needed to get me started again!

I have 8 weeks and then I leave on a cruise with some of my girlfriends. I am soooo excited and trying very hard to reach my goal weight by then. If anyone has any suggestions on how to finish off these last few pounds before vacation, I'll take them. Very Happy

Health vs. appearance
I know that a very important reason for losing the excess weight is health. I know for me it has been very important because of some of the health issues I am facing but I do have to admit that appearance plays a part in it for my as well. It is very difficult for me to look in the mirror after all of my hard work (I've lost about 60 lbs.) and see the sagging skin my weight loss has left me. How do you get past this? Has anyone else dealt with this in a more positive light than I have? Any thoughts on this subject would be greatly appreciated. I know I shouldn't let my vanity get in the way of my health but darn it!! LOL

Egg nog Recipe
Does anyone have a good low cal egg nog recipe? I would love to have a cup of egg nog but don't want to use all those calories.Very Happy
