I am 56 years young and live in Portland, Oregon. I have been on the diet yo-yo for years. Just keep plugging along. I don't feel that I look too bad, that's probably the problem. I go along good, then when I lose a few, I stop and gain it all back. I am going to try harder in 2012. My family wants to go on a cruise next year, maybe this motivation will work. I am changing my goal to 199, maybe this will help me see the light at the end of the tunnel. We shall see.

THE CHAT ROOM
Same here in Portland. Although today when I got off work it was 58 degrees and feeling balmy compared to the past few days. Flooding everywhere, the Willamette is up and we have a little creek that runs through Portland call Johnson Creek, it has flooded lots of areas in SE Portland.

First Weigh In
Lost 3 lbs last week. Feel pretty good about that. Looking forward to losing more. Hopefully 12 more by Xmas. We shall see.Rolling Eyes

Day 3
Did well today. Had 1228 calories, a little over limit, but ate healthy. Feeling good about being back on the diet. No exercise yet, but it will come next week.
