What do you eat when watching Biggest Loser?
I used to eat chips on a nightly basis. Haven't touched a chip in months. While I watched the first episode of this season's Biggest Loser I drank two cups of my favorite herbal tea: chocolate mint, and apple cinnamon chamomile. Wish I had lived like this years ago...

Is anyone else finding a new love for jogging?
Just started the Couch to 5K program this week and was really happy to see these posts. There are so many things that I've read today that give me a sense of relief and the strength to keep going. I've never been an athlete and running has always embarrassing for me--especially outdoors. I feel like I must look like an idiot. But I went out and bought some really good running shoes (Mizuno rocks!) and signed up for a 5K in March. I've been struggling with the 6mph intervals of running. Feel like my chest is getting pulled apart. But I'm determined to keep going. I love the idea of having a definitive goal--that 5K in March can not be avoided, and I can't push it further down the road. Before I'd set a looser goal like :I want to fit in this dress, or I want to 20 lbs for so-and-so's wedding...and I never stuck to it. I have been telling people who stress me rather consistently "Sorry, can't deal with this , I'm in training." Ha! Love it!
