Hi...I was always skinny as I grew up..never over 120. Then by the age of 24 I was between 165 to 170 lbs. At the time my fiance said he would not marry me if I stayed fat. By the way I'm 5'3" and he's no longer my fiance or husband or anything. Anyways that started my journey on losing weight. I lost the 30 lbs and becoming a bodybuilder. Didn't ever compete but still kept up with fitness...then I meet my current husband in 1999 and slacked off for years....went back to 165 lbs by 2006. Started my quest to lose the fat and be healthy...I did it. Then found out I was pregnant in April of 2008. Went up to 216 when I gave birth. Finally on March 20 I weighed 170 and decided to get rid of it for good. I am at a 153...23lbs away from my goal. I know I can do it!!!!

baby belly????
Well as a mom with one who's stomach got so big when pregnant and have lost 72 lbs and a ex bodybuilder....there is nothing for loose skin. I have it. If you still have fat then the obvious is eat healthy and cardio. Hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones and your skin will bounce back unless your unlucky like me.

That "Who the hell do you think you are?!" moment
Well let's see there is the "don't eat that you will get fatter" my mother and the "if you keep eating you'll be as big as a house oh wait you are big as a house" my father. Now its " you need to eat some of this fried chicken your to skin" my parents. And this is best one "you look grossly skinny around your collarbone area" Yeah....who would say s##t like that!

I've pretty much ignore everyone. This is for you one else. Don't let them stop you.

afraid of gaining weight with birth control pills
Your right Ebony everyone's body reacts differently. I didn't gain weight from it....I gained a tumor in my liver. So not two people are like. Not trying to scare you Dama....but I had to take BCP because of the ovarian cyst I kept getting. It work for 19 years then TOM started to act weird and I got off of them a little over 2 years my daughter is a 1 1/

The liver thing is common....most people never know they have it. They found mine by accident when I was preggos. It's caused by the estrogen in the pills from what the doctors say. Just talk to your doctor about all options that fit your need and their side effects.
