I'm a happy, hyper goofball of a lady. I dont know how a 30 yr old should act, nor do I care much. I work 2 jobs to try to clear up some debt so I can travel freely and enjoy life as I am getting older. It makes me exhausted at times and I have gained a great deal of weight grabbing food on the fly between the two jobs and spending a lot of time on my ever growing butt at a desk! =)
I decided that this year, I was making a change. I still have the 2 jobs but I was no longer going to let myself keep adding on pounds.. My self esteem and confidence had dropped and I was to the point I didn't want to go out with my friends b/c I felt too big to feel comfortable in my clothes .. I never felt sexy so I wouldn't date.. I was being asked out but I had a block that was, if they get close to me they'll see how big I am and be grossed out.. Sigh.. pathetic.
I have always had curves.. I used to be much more toned.. now I am working on getting back to being that girl . I am very pleased with how Atkins has been working for me. I have actually lost 10lbs so far, I have only been on this site for a week so it's a little behind.
I plan to keep rocking it and get back to living life. Cheers! (don't worry it's only water)

The scoop on Splenda?
I'm allergic to aspartame and get some funky effects off any artifical sweetner and can nearly always taste it in the first bite or sip of anything that has it... I don't get many options of sweets and treats b/c of this but I have really enjoyed in Atkins when I got to OWL and could add berries in b/c I do miss a little sweet flavor from time to time. Many people do use Splenda in many recipes or in their coffee.. it's an okay I guess as far as that goes.

Just cannot drink enough water
nisuoc, I read something about that before, people who have trouble drinking water regularly actually do better with either a straw or they tend to drink more water if it's from a "pretty" glass or cup. I drink out of one of those "Health Center" mugs that is 32oz and I normally drink about 3 to nearly 4 of those a day while at work and drink anoter one or so at home.. and of course in the morning about 16oz before I even leave the house.. but allllll this I do with a straw. I bought a few packs of blue, green and purple straws at ikea last month (100 for .99) and it helps me chug the water down.

taking things in stride....o.0
great attitude sweetie!!! I dont think you have to restrict yourself to chicken breast and lettuce for dinner and snack necessarily but if you want to, I bet it won't hurt..and chug chug chug the water!! You're doing great!! There's no jumping off the boat here, you're surrounded. =) =)

eeeeeeek o.0
Dar, it's okay girl, we have all had our little battles and you have been through a lot lately, just pick yourself up, dust yourself up.. fix you a couple meal options like a chicken salad or grill up a chicken breast, throw in a salad and stick a straw in your water cup.. and before you know it the cup will be empty. I have faith in you!!
