I'm 36. Based out of South Jersey. I say based becuase I am a traveling consultant/sales rep that is on the road 3-4 nights a week. I have been in sales for the past 10yrs but just switch to a more travel position about 2 years ago. My weight has been level for about past 7 yrs. I kinda knew what to eat and what not to eat. I run into problems when I am home for a week or more. I have been lacking energy lately and feel it has to do with my weight and what I am eating.
Another major change I made this past fall was I decided to have a positive outlook on everything. I am amazed at how many more doors have opened for me. Just being nice to folks has really helped. Yes, there are times folks rain on my parade, but there are more positive than negative days. All the world needs is for more folks to be positive and stop blaming everyone else for their problems. Like a good friend told me the other day, 'Only you can fix your problems, Obama or any president can't fix your problems' Think about it, who do you think is going fix your problems in life? Who is the one that got you where you are good or bad?
OK, Adding some goals:
Reach 200- (by 4/15?) = New Scale (Then reset goal)
Overall goal= 180 lbs (That was 18 yrs ago!)
Current wieght- 166lbs.
I feel GREAT!
I run approx 10-20 miles a week.
Trying to keep up the positive thoughts a much as possible. It still helps greatly.
The food I eat today is working hard- diet consists of 'real' food and very few wheat products. 90% of what I eat is fresh produce and lean protein. Simple is better.
The major question is where to stop?
