Does anyone subscribe to a magazine that has helped you on this journey?

I currenlty subscribe to Self magazine, but find the last couple issues have had a "you need to do this (lose weight/exercise) because you don't look good enough" feel to them. Maybe it is just the frame of mind I was in when I read them, but I am looking for something more in the vein of being healthy rather then just thin.

men's health and womens health. Then any sport hobbies you are into. For my Runners World. I learn a lot from all listed.

I have both read and been told that for work out information for women that the mens magazines are better. To that end I spent time at a book store comparing them, and I did find that I got more relevant information from the mens magazines. I know how you feel skirch97 when you look at the models they use for the women's articles they can definately make you feel "not good enough". I found better workout information in the men's, and more realistic diet information with actually reasons behind it; other than it will make your butt look good. So now I buy the men's for information, and the women's to photoshop my head to the bodies and dream!!! LOL!! (you should see my Christmas card..I look soooooooo hot!!)

I don't subscribed but I do a lot of research online and they are one of them. I don't get the feeling I have to do anything either so not sure how to advise on that but I do know what I want and so far it is working for me Smile
1st Goal: 150 lbs
2nd Goal: 135 lbs
3rd Goal: 125 lbs
