Hey everybody! I guess that I didn't take the time to write about myself, but I would love for everybody to know a little more about me. I view myself as being a very sweet, optimistic, intelligent person with a great attitude towards life and love. I have a Catholic/Jewish background so my childhood was centered around many wonderful events and memories including food. As a child, I was very active until the day when I became a bookworm. I absolutely loved devouring page after page, sometimes reading the same books over and over again. Therefore, I didn't really exercise much outside of gym class and other such activities. Not to take away from reading (reading is a wonderful hobby), but I know that I should've kept an active lifestyle. My weight steadily climbed from my primary into my secondary years. I went through a few unsavory relationships and became really despondent and careless about my life. My mother also suffered two strokes, and I have been taking care of her (I love helping her), but not really taking care of myself. I have been on yo yo diets for years, and I am finally fighting back. Now, don't feel sorry for me. Like I said, I am a very positive person and know that I can achieve anything that I set my mind to. Despite the fact that I am hitting some rough financial times right now, I have to be grateful for my misfortune. It truly is the fire that really inspired me to conquer my life through setting goals including being a healthier, well-rounded person. I know that I am already successful for fighting back and so are all of you! We all have our demons, but we are doing a fabulous job giving this life our best each and every day! :) You should all be proud of yourselves!

Oh God, my boyfriend says the same thing. It's funny. Problem is that I will always have a shapely behind no matter what. I think I am naturally larger on the bottom -- thicker hips, shapely butt, thicker thighs lol Let me see...I guess that it would be up to you. I guess that he really needs to see where you're coming from. My favorite excuse is that it's for my health. It really is for my health, but it always hits home. It always seems to work on even the most supportive people. I try to leave the physical aspect out of it. I always emphasize health...diabetes runs in the family, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholestorol, cancer, etc. I don't want to contract any of those so I tell everybody that I'm fighting it...that might help him understand. Heck, you may be shaped to have a sexy butt anyhow Smile You never know. I just know that when I was 145 pounds (my average weight, the weight that I loved), I still had the hips, butt, and thighs. We're all built differently. Many people prefer having a shapely butt Smile

Hello Everyone
Hey! I'm so glad you joined Smile I am definitely looking for friends on here for motivation Smile You sound exactly like me. I was on a healthy eating and fitness regimen kick a couple of years ago. I went to Curve's and lost a great bit of weight. After really bad relationships, I gained it all back and more. I am finally in a decent relationship with somebody who really loves me and wants to see me succeed in everything I set out to do. He is behind me 1 billion percent in this journey Smile You definitely remind me of myself, though. I remember the days when I was 190...ahh. Loved it lol. I would love to be 190 again. Definitely not my final goal either, but it's a great short-term goal Wink We can do it!
