Hey everybody! I guess that I didn't take the time to write about myself, but I would love for everybody to know a little more about me. I view myself as being a very sweet, optimistic, intelligent person with a great attitude towards life and love. I have a Catholic/Jewish background so my childhood was centered around many wonderful events and memories including food. As a child, I was very active until the day when I became a bookworm. I absolutely loved devouring page after page, sometimes reading the same books over and over again. Therefore, I didn't really exercise much outside of gym class and other such activities. Not to take away from reading (reading is a wonderful hobby), but I know that I should've kept an active lifestyle. My weight steadily climbed from my primary into my secondary years. I went through a few unsavory relationships and became really despondent and careless about my life. My mother also suffered two strokes, and I have been taking care of her (I love helping her), but not really taking care of myself. I have been on yo yo diets for years, and I am finally fighting back. Now, don't feel sorry for me. Like I said, I am a very positive person and know that I can achieve anything that I set my mind to. Despite the fact that I am hitting some rough financial times right now, I have to be grateful for my misfortune. It truly is the fire that really inspired me to conquer my life through setting goals including being a healthier, well-rounded person. I know that I am already successful for fighting back and so are all of you! We all have our demons, but we are doing a fabulous job giving this life our best each and every day! :) You should all be proud of yourselves!
