Thoroughly enjoying the mid 50's with my new husband who loves to cook. I thought I had weight issues most of my adult life, but when you live with someone who thinks you're fat when you weight 130 lbs, reality gets distorted. But now I do have issues, in that I love good food and am learning portion control and all around self-control.
I have 2 beautiful supportive daughters and 6 amazing grandchildren. I found this site quite by accident and after a stint with Weight Watchers (losing 40 lbs), I am amazed what a great online resource this is for free. By the way, it took 2 years but I put back on 20 lbs. so here I am.

How has menopause affected your journey?
I have also heard it is difficult to lose weight during menopause, but am finding if I burn more calories than I consume, the weight comes off. No excuses for me!
