performance: losing 1.2 lb a week
My name is Lisa, I am 55 years old and live with my husband in a small town in New Hampshire. I have always been overweight..I have been on a few diets, but I never realistically believed I would be anything but fat. Recently my hips have hurt and I have had tingling in my hands. My doctor recommended lowering my carb intake to reduce inflammation. I went looking for a low carb cookbook and came upon the "new" Atkins book and decided to give it a try. So here I am. I started the diet on March 9th and have lost about 10 pounds. The tingling is just about gone, but the hips still hurt. I have been walking about 10 miles a week for 2 years, take a yoga class 2 times a week and lift a few weights the days in between.
