I've always been an "all or nothing" person when it comes to diet and exercise. I'm either very good or very bad. When I am eating good, I am exercising. When I am eating junk, I'm a couch potato.

It's really hot where I live this time of year so I am not walking like I would like. I spend the somewhat mild early morning at the dog park which is good exercise for Bobby but not so good for me. I do have a treadmill which I find boring but am beginning to use again. Each day that I stick to a good eating plan I will keep adding minutes to my time on the treadmill.

I probably have 20-30 pairs of pants, mostly jeans that are 1, 2, or 3 sizes smaller than what I wear currently. And I only have 2 pair of jeans that I can fit into now. As they wear out I replace them. I haven't gone down a size in 5 years. I have lost 25 pounds or so at least 3 times in the past 5 years. But it will take about 30 pounds to get in to the next size smaller pants. I know it's usually about 10-15 pounds to go down a size for me, but I am wearing what I have pretty tight right now, can't face the idea of going up another size.

I'm trying to lose 50 pounds and once I do that I'll set the next goal. I don't really want to diet, just want to eat much smaller portions. I have exchanged the mug I usually use for my daily hot chocolate (don't drink coffee) from a 12 oz mug to 6 oz. That's one change and I'll keep on making changes for smaller meals with healthy snacks in between

overeating and gaining weight back then trying to lose it again
I recently had 2 bad eating days. Started at a restaurant having breakfast with my niece - French toast and coffee. I would have survived that if that was the end of it. But then that night I opened up a bag of Ruffles potato chips and ate a lot with ranch dip. Continued eating them the next day until the dip was gone and chips were almost gone. Gave the chips to the wildlife outside (blue jays, squirrels, deer). I know as long as I get right back on track the weight will come off again easily. I remember seeing a segment on Dr. Oz where he talked about having a big splurge in eating and that you don't necessarily see the weight gain the next day, but possible the day after that. Don't remember what he said exactly but what I got out of it was your body, your system "resets" after an occurrence like that assuming you go right back to how you normally eat. I think it was by the 5th day you would be back to where you were when the overeating happened. When I have my binges or splurges I typically try to fast the next day or eat as little as possible until I see the weight back where it was. But this time I decided to put it to the test. After I finished the overeating on Tuesday evening and Wednesday early day I was up over 4 pounds. But for the rest of Wednesday through today I just began eating the way I have since signing up on FS at the end of July. After my long walk today I weighed myself and was .4 pounds from where I was I began eating the chips. So being good Thursday, Friday and today I am pretty sure my weight will be fine when I weigh tomorrow morning. But now I've got an idea of what happens and not to stress when it takes a few days to lose the pounds after a binge. I still end up losing close to a week by having the bad day pushing my goals further away. I wanted to reach 170 by the end of this month, but don't think that will happen.

Sleeping on Keto
Could it be daylight savings time? I know since it's now dark so early I want to go to sleep and then realize it's only 7pm. And if I do go to sleep I'm awake around 9:30 or so and then have a hard time getting back to sleep. Don't have input on whether it's KETO since I am using a different type of diet. But I do suffer from insomnia frequently.

Mid day snacks
I don't limit carbs if they are in fruits or vegetables, but then I am not doing a low carb diet. Maybe raw almonds? I eat nuts most days, but not a lot. Maybe 10 or so almonds. I also will have a dill pickle to try to cut down on my salt cravings.

exercise for very overweight lady
I would just walk. I had been having a hard time with any physical activity. I would get really winded just raking leaves or bending down to clean the litter boxes. As I am losing weight I am able to do a little more. I hardly walked at all until I lost 15 pounds or so. Then I just walked 10 minutes or so in my neighborhood each day trying to go further by one driveway every day. Now, I still walk slow but am walking about 2.5 miles a day and working on getting to at least 4 miles.

Vitamin K
I've never heard of getting too much Vitamin K. If it's caused by a medical condition, what does your doctor say? Can the levels come back down to normal?
