Time for an update! I'll be a 66 year old woman next month! I am no longer using the WW system. I stalled on it, and simply couldn't get it to work for me after a certain point. So I tried a few different plans, and finally found Slimming World, a diet plan that started in England and finally made it's way over here to the States. It's a bit different here than across the big pond, due to the American diet recommendations (seems we suggest more dairy/calcium intake than they do over there), but whatever... it actually worked for me, with no counting of anything. Eat loads of free foods, count ONLY my syns (the bad foods! lol). And I made goal last April! YAY ME! Maintained for 2 months and then our world started to fall apart... and I discovered something I never knew about myself... I'm a stress eater! (Always thought I was just a glutton, eating for pure flavor.) WELL, push came to shove, and I gained 24 pounds back again. While Slimming World still works for me, I no longer pay a monthly fee, and feel I do better when I post online, makes me more accountable to myself and the entire world! lol SO... here I am, going at it again. At least I only need to drop 24 pounds this time around, right? Ok, that's my update, now back to regularly scheduled program, as Char Gets Thin! rofl

Map app?
Update. I found Map My Walk, which is wonderful, syncs with my Fitbit, and even talks to me, so I don't have to glance at the phone while walking! Give a great map, plus calories burned, miles walked, total workout time, and speed.

Map app?
Got my first smart phone, and I'm looking for an app that will map my hikes/ walks. I tried a few, they'll tell me my mileage, but when I try to see where I've been, I get a blank screen. (And yes, the GPS is turned on lol) Can anyone recommend a good app to use? If it also gave mileage that would be a bonus! TIA! OH, and I hike off road, so it has to map on it's own, not just color a course on an existing road. Wink

what I"d like to know is if all the shaming he got for having a little winky did HIM any good??? Because you KNOW he has to have some SERIOUS problems to even come up with a concept like this! Wink
