I made a resolution for 2011 that I would live a healthier live style. I quit smoking in February, and went through the weight gain and withdrawals. I started actively walking in May, but the weight loss has been so slow. Plus, it took time to adjust with the walking and how it increased my appetite. I have now learned how to resolve the actual belly growling hungries...I just recently started the Atkins on September 13, 2011, and it is still a continuous learning curve. I have been bemoaning the fact that the weight loss has not been as fast as I was expecting. I was hoping to lose 2 to 3 pounds a week, but I am only loosing 1 pound a week. Therefore, I have decided I am not going to let the numbers RULE me, I am going to rule the numbers. As long as I continue to be faithful on my food choices and continue to exercise, which I will, then I am becoming a healthier person each DAY.
