Revising my bio 9/11/16

After trying almost every weight loss program under the sun - WW, Atkins, Optifast, among others, including some rather strange stuff lol - I decided late in 2015 to look into Weight Loss Surgery. I started my journey on December 23, 2015 at 260.2 lbs...lost 22 lbs prior to the surgery (thanks to two weeks of a liquid diet just before I had the procedure), and on July 13, 2016 had the Gastric Sleeve. My procedure didn't exactly go according to the textbooks, but all in all, I'm happy so far.

as of 2016, I'm 59y/o, Female, have a wonderful husband of the last almost 6 years, 2 beautiful daughters and 2 son-in-laws, the oldest daughter has given us 2 gorgeous grandchildren...the younger just got married in November of 2015, so we have time there yet lol.

I live in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest (Washington State), and am blessed to be a stay at home wife and dog-mom to 3 slightly demented pooches.

Have you tried to break it down by serving? I did the same thing with a recipe I found, and the numbers were astronomical, so I just figured out how many servings there were in the recipe, and went from there...good luck!

atkins induction
Good for you - great weight loss! I started on the 9th, and I'm down 14.5, after being on a stall last week...I'm still on induction, and probably will stay there till I hit 20 or 25 lbs maybe, I'll just have to play it by ear and see how I feel - if you want any buddies to chat with or for support, I'm sending you a request. Keep up the great job!

I don't get it - I'm on Atkins, granted only for a week and a half, but if I saw a recipe that didn't 'fit' my program, I'd either try to find a way to adjust it, or not eat it, but in no way shape or form would I post anything negative about it just because it didn't conform to the Atkins mold...and why other people would is beyond petuniak, not all Atkins people are that way, and my motto is if it works for you, then hell yeah - go for it, and the best of luck on your journey! I hope you reach all your goals!
