Well, I'm into the "two teens" for the first time in a decade and that's awesome. I met my goal for the week and I'm on track for 1.5-2 pounds week, or 6-8 pounds per month.

Going to the gym has really stepped things up. Also, joining the pedometer challenge forces me to try to walk more each day.

I'm on day #197 of no cheating, and abstaining from refined sugar and alcohol. At this rate, I may reach my first goal of 100 pounds in a year by September, or I will come very close and that's good enough for me.

Hitting the gym again this weekend. Thanks to NM, Bwy, pu, CR and Rob for the ongoing support.
219.0 lb Lost so far: 61.0 lb.    Still to go: 70.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Hey, hey, Dom! You're doing SO GREAT!!! My GAWD! Over 60 lbs gone, and you're weight-chart still has that breezy, but even, downward trend. You'll make your September goal. I'm sure of it. Mrsmole, fantastic!! I just want to second the motion on the abstention from sugar and alcohol....that's what I'm doing as well and it's working for me. I look at it as this: neither one helps me with my life goals right now and there's plenty of time to enjoy them later (but in smaller quantities). Keep going!

That is so fantastic! I can't even begin to commit to such a challenge. I don't overdo it on the sugar, but I know I wouldn't do as well as you're doing if I tried to give it up.
