Very true but don't give up. I've been going backwards since the holidays and have just restarted today. I am determined to take off the rest I have to lose before having some surgery done. Glad the weather is nicer since it makes it easier to get some extra exercise in. I'm rooting for you :)

Just stick with it. I have been on a plateau all this month. It will be temporary, but you will finally do it.

Yup, weight loss happens on a curve, not a straight line, that makes sense it gets more difficult to lose those last few pounds.

Hey BB, at this point for you now non-scale victories are probably more important to concentrate on. Health, Body fat%, strength, fitness, endurance...you've really come so far in many of these areas, take some pride in that!! Good luck buddy!!

Oh ya, I'm in the same boat, chiselling a bit of fat here and there, not many pounds to lose without losing a bit of strength.

U got this! Just be patience on focus on what bc and Steven said. Maybe this prepares us for maintenance?

I agree that the last ten or twelve pounds are the hardest to take off. I certainly had a hard time but I think it is also the most rewarding ten or twelve pounds. I have noticed that most people who rebound never reach their goal. They are often ten or twelve pounds shy of their goal. Maintenance is new to me but I think the last ten or twelve pounds will help. Keep studying what works for you and keep doing what works.

That's where I'm at right now and have been doing somewhat of an unintentional refeed the last two days. After some rest I'll get back at it.

I agree. The early pounds come off me easily because the more I weigh, the more calories I burn doing anything. plus with a lot of excess fat to turn into energy, its easier to eat very little and not feel puny. But as a previous poster wrote, the last pounds are the most rewarding. Congrats on your success to date and best wishes on continued progress towards your goal.

The last pounds are the hardest for sure, it's taking me a long time to get them off. But not giving up, not going back to the way things were, despite setbacks that may occur. Keep on the journey!
