I am on this journey to break my old habits of over eating and laziness. I have lost about 28lbs in a year and I am not going back!I started losing weight in August of last year(2015), I had lost about 20 lbs in 3 lbs by swimming and journaling, I did not count, just wrote it down.I was on a mission to tone up for my wedding which was in November 2015 on the beautiful cliffs of Negril, Jamaica. I stopped swimming and journaling around November 13th, by the time Jan 17 2016 rolled around I had packed on 9 lbs. I knew I had to get back into gear fast. I re joined FS at 143.6 lbs on 1/21/16 and haven't looked back.
*5/2017- I got down to 120 lbs in Juneish of 2016 then packed it back on come Jan 2017. I am recomping have lost 10 lbs in a month so far
I am a (soon to be 40 year old) stay at home daughter in law for 2 yrs. FIL needed 24 hour care. The experience has been very trying as my father in law is "blind" and HOH. He served 22 years in the army. He did a lot of good for others in his life so I am paying it forward.
That being said, I am "home-bound" all week unless he has an appointment. I used to just sit around and eat all day and watch soap opera's and play Club Pogo online games. As of mid Jan 2016 I canceled my subscription to Pogo and I deleted my timers for the soaps. Now I spend my time doing workouts, cleaning, meal prepping, anything to move! I've started counting cals and and say NO. My husband likes to order out all of the time, he is very picky and wants what he wants. We used to share a lot of foods but not anymore.
It has been a long time since I have been in the 130's! I am excited to see where my journey leads me!I am excited to look in the mirror and see structure, not flab. *5/2017
Beachbody programs: The Master's Hammer and Chisel done in June of 2016 *Body Beast last year with two attempts to complete. I am doing Body Beast again as of 5/29/17.
I do 16:8 fasts and OMAD.

how to remove rice from diet?
Yeah my husband grew up eating rice rice and rice. He is very fit. And I'm not talking a little rice either!! He still eats rice. At least once a week. Maybe twice if we do Mexican and Chinese in the same week. Me, I still measure mine out.

Atkins bars...what gives??
I think u just have to look at the fiber and subtract that from the carbs and that's your net. I think anyway.
