Bleh! Up but I am going to chock it up to muscles holding water after my weightlifting yesterday at the gym. So, a day of healing and Monday is a cardio stretch day. Everyday is stretch day but I plan to do yoga too when I get home. There is a yoga class, spin classes but they all conflict with the open times of the shop. Oh well, I will make do. Maybe next quarter the schedule will change. Sewing is what my zen thing to do today I am going to get my valences done. Then maybe the cat tree mini fleece quilts. Off and sewing I go! Hope everyone avoided all that poisonous candy and goodies! I succumbed to 1 tiny heath bar this AM.

My hubby bought one of those big bag of candies at Costco. So far he is the only one to eat any. And we only had 2 trick or treaters.

Good for you Kelly one the candy!! I did much more than that, weight is the same so all good. Tis a new month.
Sounds like you have your mojo back and have rested up some and that you are enjoying the gym. I understand about sewing, I'm looking forward to quilting again once the other projects are done.

I think halloween has largely lost the candy component. The food industry has done a great job of marketing 'snacks' and kid's parents seem to have no issue with giving them candy at any time. Most kids have cash as well, so they can just go to the store and get what they want. What's the attraction of going out into the cold to get something you have every day?

I can't say I limited myself to one tiny candy bar. This morning, I took all the leftover candy that was not handed out and packed it up so I would not be tempted by it. I need a strong strategy for staying away from the kids' loot, but so far, so good today.

YAY 4 U, having just one teeny candy bar! We didn't buy any candy, because we never have any kids come to our house since it's in the country, & down a long driveway. I usually go to the gas station with my Hubby & give out candy, & have a Jackolantern, etc., but since it was on Saturday this year Hubby didn't work so I didn't do that either. So I had no candy, which was fine with me. Keep it up, gal!
