Do you think 42 years old is too old to become an alcoholic? I mean I don't drink at all so I would have a lot of catching up to do. The car I hit has $3000 damage some broken tire thing so I had to turn it in to my insurance company, which means my premiums will go up, which the only reason I have a high premium is because I have a car note, which the only reason I have a car note is because 1 year and 2 days before this accident I had an accident which totaled my paid off 13 year old car and I had to get a lawyer for the first time in my life which settled out of court but still managed to screw up my finances for a while SO I'M JUST A LITTLE BITTER RIGHT NOW. I'm so jealous of the people who sit in the park rocking back and forth laughing to themselves and pointing at their imaginary friends. At least they're having fun together. Then the girlfriend tells me I'm always telling her it's going to be OK and it always is so it'll be OK. Fine. Throw my words back at me. ugh! Right now I just want to call Annie a liar because the sun is NOT shining it's cloudy. I'm going to go sit somewhere laughing wildly to myself now just to watch people walking in a wide path around me... that or I'm just going to get back to work, probably that one.

It's too expensive to drink. Check with your insurance company to see if they have accident forgiveness. I got lucky on that one. It didn't go up but I still dropped them because we had to fight the insurance adjuster to fix the suv because he said it was messed up prior to the accident. Rock away. Play music. No one will question your sanity.

Well shoot. I knew there was a reason I wasn't an alcoholic. I haaaate insurance. I don't think I have the accident forgiveness. I guess it's good I didn't get a ticket. I have people question my sanity on almost a daily basis lol

You totally need a drink....or 12. Insurance companies are dumb. You pay and pay and pay and then when you need them, they screw you over.

And think of all the nasty empty calories in alcohol. So not worth it.

Car and money problems are always my biggest stressors!

I think you'd be better off with your "friends" in the park than to expect satisfaction from an insurance company.

The story we stir up in our mind full of emotion hurt and expectation is ALWAYS worse than actuality. And if it does all come true why make it 1000 times worse by reliving it before it happens. Plan for the worst, expect the best and let the mind stories go. This is what I tell myself all the time.

Aww so sorry you are having those problems. Do not start drinking, from one who really likes wine and beer, not worth it. Have a cup of relaxing herbal tea. Can't help on the insurance company issue. Car issues can be a nightmare!! Working with one myself, will be interesting what the result will be. I amazed my coon damage is covered so anything is more than I expected. So for me everything is more than expected.

This too will past, remember how you felt with the first accident? You survive that and in time, this too will past.{ remind me when I feel a little crazy}

Ah yes, I know that feeling of being overwhelmed and no matter how hard you try to be positive things seem dark. But then I got cancer and realized it could all be over and I wouldn't have to worry about anything again. It taught me not to let life get me crazy. Don't get me wrong. I still have my down times, but they are short-lived. I just remind myself that I could have died 12 years ago and instead I was one of the lucky ones. I get to wake up each day, good or bad. I get to see the people I love. Many weren't that lucky. So for awhile let yourself stew. You have a right. Things haven't been so good. But then realize how much very worse it could have been with your car accident. And then just move past it. God bless you and good luck.
