HCB's Journal, 25 April 2013

I noticed I did well in January and February, and crashed in March and April. That seems opposite of what has happened in the past. Usually Spring is the rebirth and the new beginning.

I guess Spring is late in the North Country...so a slow start for me.
I have logged every day, and been more conscious of what food is around.

I love my DH and he is my greatest fan and supporter...and the past two weeks even HE has been down and eating "stuff" he seldom eats.

This weekend is expected to be improved weather so off we will go to walk, or bicycle, or hit the Minnesota Horse Expo.



Let's rock it together!

This weather has to break soon! We had snow again yesterday, and if I can't ski on it then I don't want it! Personally I think that we'll all be doing better when it is actually spring weather!

Sounds like you're getting back on track & with spring in view! We each are on our own journey & while we'd love it to be a straight path to our goal, it & life rarely are. Hang in there... one day at a time! xoxox

This has been a very chilly one this year..so yeah I understand how we are not doing as well...warmer weather makes you want to get out and do things..hope its soon for you...:O)

The weather has been so up and down no wonder many of us are having so much trouble. But out of all ppl i know u will et passed this.. I know u have inspired me so many times and made me think twice abt wht i have eatten. I know u will bounce back:)

Way to hang in there. It is such a struggle, I know. Last year I was losing weight 10 pounds a month! Now I keep gaining and relosing the same 5 pounds! Crap! I didn't feel like working out tonight, I was feeling a little down, but forced myself to go anyway. I tried jogging for like a minute but my heart wasn't in it. I thought don't give up so soon, and I got on the elliptical. The tv was broken and I just couldn't do it - isn't that pathetic? But I stopped myself and thought "hell with it, I will just walk around the track". And I did, for a whole hour, which is not bad exercise. Plus I walked the dog for 30 minutes earlier in the day. So I have had 1 hour and 30 minutes of exercise today. Not jogging or running dripping with sweat exercise, but exercise nonetheless. I keep telling myself that I at least moved my body for 90 minutes, didn't overeat, and I suppose I feel better than before I went to the gym. Small victories.

Over 4 months if I remember correctly you did have a termendous amount going on. So naturally the body wanted a break to rebuild. Now the building process has neared it's end and it is time for you to define and decorate the structure. Here's to sunshine and positive lights!!

Spring's taking it's own sweet time arriving here too, so I completely understand how you feel. The last two days have had sunshine and milder temps though, so fingers crossed it'll hang around this time! Hope you're having a great weekend!
