Happy Hump Day! And Day 3 begins.

Funny, yesterday's eating was technically a failure. I weighed my food before I ate but recorded it into the diary after I ate. The result: my calories were 168 under but my carbs were 3 over goal.

And it all comes from presuming that each "half" of a sweet potato weighs the same. But since those 3 extra carbs were the result of yesterday's "half" of the sweet potato being larger than Monday's "half", I'm calling in at win. This technical stuff can get ridiculous!

1344 kcal Fat: 87.23g | Prot: 112.52g | Carb: 30.66g.   Breakfast: heavy whipping cream, unsweetened almond milk , brewed coffee, egg, deli ham. Lunch: cucumber, chicken breast, Blue Cheese Yogurt, red pepper, green pepper, Dole Salad. Dinner: butter, dole salad, ground beef, Yogurt ranch, green beans. Snacks/Other: almond milk, GNC whey protein, coffee, almonds, almond milk, cocoa, Instant coffee, coffee, almond milk. more...

Happy Hump Day Buffy..don't stress on the half of sweet potato..you probably burned those cals and carbs off by just worrying about it..LOL..Like Heather says..don't sweat the small stuff...I think there is a trend here for you to heed..Have a great day girl...:O)

GG - Thanks. For this Challenge I am weighing everything (whenever possible). But, if I exercised like you I could eat a whole sweet potato. Maybe some day!

Ha HA - even I m not that precise! I eat sweet potato almost daily but I am sure they change in size...thanks for the spinach suggestion! I have eaten spinach two days now and like it - especially in omelettes.

Close enough for government work! It's good to keep a close watch on things like that, but you're right....sometimes we can all get a bit too technical! Here's to perfectly-formed sweet potatoes!

Sandy - So glad you understand - I have no intention of being that technical the rest of my life. My goal is to learn what reasonable servings are - without the help of a measuring cup or scale!
