And remember back then margarine was the only thing my mother would get because it was suppose to be better for you than butter. Oh how we've been lied to, ✌ that's a great ad! it would be great to go back and look in the microfiche find more ads! do they still have microfiche lol

It’s not so much “lied” to—some of this stuff just was not known. 40 years from now your kids and grandkids will be laughing at you or telling you that everybody has been lying to them over one thing or another. It has happened every generation since time started. Science is not stagnant. The proof in the pudding so to speak is —time.

Interesting !!!!! HMMMM .....no wonder I loved my sweet tarts, snicker's, reese cups, hershey's when I was a kid...... I can't recall the show, perhaps it is one that Easter Egg mentioned, but it had old movies in the documentary showing old man Kellog and his health retreat back in the day..... It was really something to see. It was later found, he promoted things in order to benefit from 2 sides of the coin, SUGAR to KEEP YOU BUYING CEREAL, then, THE HEALTH RETREAT TO SELL YOU A CURE FOR OBESITY AND OTHER HEALTH AILMENTS..... Equated to a modern day snake oil salesmen.... Thanks for sharing .......

The lies keep on, due to political, commercial and religious reason. Discovering the fact based researchers is probably the best thing that happened for me. The lesson for me is to completely ignore most 'public propaganda'
