Pressure to wegh in and suceed
Conicassity— you are doing so good. You are very right, it is about developing a habit. It is a known fact that when dealing with cravings for something, you are better off including a small/reasonable size serving into your plan. Otherwise you continue to eat around that craving but never achieve satisfaction. Can’t do it every day and you have to master portion control. That is the biggest problem with totally restrictive diets—

Rdmeng527.— it is always a concern when I see people give advice and info to others who seemingly have significant medical issues. I never really quite know what they know about their disease so I toss in my two cents for their consideration. I know many people here do not have a high regard for the medical community, but I still urge people to keep their docs in the loop.

Cassava cake (Filipino style) nutrients
Patience responding to your comment about the potassium issue and the cassava cake Im a little confused about what you said about not coming unstuck. Not sure what you meant. That being said, if you were trying to say that natural foods shouldn’t be a problemt —- that is a dangerously wrong answer. If a person has severe kidney disease, kidney failure, on dialysis, etc, potassium can KILL them and is often a suicide method of choice for dialysis patients. Many, many foods have high potassium contents but especially fruit, but lots of other things as well. THERE ARE TWO THINGS IN THIS WORLD THAT WILL KILL YOU VERY QUICKLY— ONE IS A HIGH POTASSIUM AND THE OTHER IS A LOW POTASSIUM. that is why in my world I will never recommend a WOE program that I believe has a risk of severely screwing up your electrolytes. Especially to people who are not being followed by a physician. And not to anyone who I don’t think is going to try to learn a little bit about their choice of WOE. ALSO NOT TO ANYONE WITH SIGNIFICANT MEDICAL ISSUE or take meds for heart disease, diabetes, cancer, etc.
