Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

Pork chops with a flavorful parmesan coating.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment or wax paper and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl whisk together mustard, oil, and spices.
  4. Season the 4 pork chops with pepper, then brush both sides of the chops with the mustard mixture.
  5. Press the grated parmesan cheese into both sides of the chops.
  6. Place the chops on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes. The coating should be browned and slightly crispy and the pork should be cooked all the way through.
  7. Note: you can also use this recipe with boneless chicken breasts instead of pork chops & it is just as dee-lish!

Really tasty, my family really enjoyed them. I will make these chops again.I served them with the Roasted Parm. & garlic Cauliflower. Recipes like these make it so easy to stay on a "diet".

Sounds great, but I'll try it tonight with half the oil. Trying to control my intake of fats. I might also swap out half the cheese for bread crumbs. Amazing what you can do with dijon mustard. . .

We really liked this recipe. My hubby HATES mustard, but he loved the pork. My only question, is how do you get it to be crispy. Mine ended up with melted brown parm, but it never really got crispy. Any suggestions???

I'm that person thats afraid of spices and putting strange ingrediants together *ex: mustard and pork* But I did it and I've never cooked pork chops that have come out so tender and great tasting. Loved this recipe!
