I am a 28 year old mother of a beautiful baby girl. I am trying to get back down to my weight before I got pregnant. Then possibly keep going depending on what is a healthy weight for me. I want to be healthy and set a good example for my daughter. I never want her to develope any of the body image issues I have developed. I knew it was time for a change when she started walking and I got winded just trying to keep up. Plus, my husband (soon to be ex) constantly telling me how fat and ugly I am helped light the weight loss fire inside me. I weighed roughly 265 after my daughter was born but managed to bring it down to 223 by the time I found this website. Now 75 pounds gone and I feel amazing! I still have a ways to go but I KNOW I'll get there!

I don't understand...
How can a person can gain 3 lbs in two days! I know I didn't exercise this weekend but come on...3 lbs?! I know weight can go up and down a few ounces everyday but I didn't think it could go up a few pounds! Especially since I didn't eat bad.

Any ideas as to how 3 lbs in 2 days is possible?

Can't get the number on the scale to go down!
I've been hovering around 183 for awhile now and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how to rev up my metabolism?

I already take a b12 complex vitamin and have recently added workouts with resistance bands. I researched both and seems that they are supposed to do the job. But I just can't seem to get that number to budge!

Injured knee
While jogging last night I twisted my knee. All of my exercise tapes require bending my knees or getting down on the floor. Any suggestions on exercises that do not require putting any stress on the knee? I'm afraid to take a couple of days off to rest my knee.

Stranger Danger
I jog at night alone and am usually the only female doing so. I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood right across the street from a very dark park. It really started to freak me out so I got some pepper spray. Although I'm still the only female out there at night I feel a whole lot better. It isn't expensive and its amazing how such a little canister can make you feel a whole lot safer. I would recommend getting some and carrying it at all times! Stay safe =D
