keto gal here. I am knock knock knocking on 160s door! 👍 I have been wanting pizza for the last month but I have not given in. any day now I have another 10 pound goal to tackle.
170.0 lb Lost so far: 60.0 lb.    Still to go: 55.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Liv001 because it took me almost two months to lose 2 pounds. You think I'm gonna blow it on pizza, and go out of keto assist and reward myself , no, that is destruction. it will set me back another two months.

Junkfood should not be a reward if you're severely insulin resistant and struggling no matter how hard you try.

I highly recommend making FatHead pizza! YouTube has tons of videos on how to make it. It's fab!

I'm with you. Just a little treat and I am back where I was a couple of weeks or a month ago. So often I am tempted but most of the time I can resist. Even when I go out to eat, even though I try to be smart, I am always up a lb or two and it takes several days to go back down. It's probably the salt. If I have clam chowder at the local soup and salad restaurant I pick out every last potato piece but my weight still goes up with the thickener in it. The onion or chicken noodle (every noodle picked out) have too much salt. You are doing good!

Dewy! Yup, I've heard it's good. After my no dairy month I'll probably try it. It might be a no dairy free weeks. Lol

I suspect thickeners like corn starch in soups could slow you down and definitely the high salt content. I always seem to gain briefly after eating Chinese take out. Just a fact of life so I don’t eat it often.

Chow more? Are you keto? I don't eat carbohydrates I try to always keep my carbohydrates under 20 g a day. so I am always in ketosis, carbohydrates like pizza it will break my ketosis and set me back. Thickeners have carbohydrates in them. It's the carbs that make you gain after eating carbohydrates not the salt typically. many people actually need to add sodium potassium and magnesium to their diet when they are keto.

@adefwebserver there's a great little Italian pizza place I can walk to about three blocks from here. I can buy a pizza by the slice , and I usually get a piece every few months. The guy who works there, (son of the owner) Went on a keto diet, and was bragging to me he lost 50 or 80 pounds. I need to go to him and see if he's come up with a keto pizza recipe that will match his great pizza lol

Look for a cauliflower crust recipe and make your own sauce without sugar

Look for Fathead pizza dough recipe online. You will not believe it's not real crust. My husband thought he was eating real pizza ha ha:)
