69,married, retired, loving life! Gardener and Keeper of the home. Queen of all I survey... or at least our one acre American Dream. We live in Pacific Northwest on the NW tip of Oregon. Beautiful here but we do get the most rain in the state 🌧. Very very glad to be here and am supportive of all who struggle daily on getting and staying healthy. Love the FS community.

I read somewhere that 10 pounds weight loss = 60 pound stress relief on your joints and spine. Wow! So just a one pound weight loss relieves 6 pounds pressure and compression on your body. It adds up.

New member ... dieting education needed!
Increase protein without increasing with protein shakes. Use either nonfat milk or unsweetened almond milk as your liquid. I use Vega brand chocolate mixed into almond milk. 160 calories, 21 gms protein, 5 gms, Fat, 7 gms carbs per serving.
