Happy Tuesday Everyone - It is an amazing day. I added a journal entry yesterday but it appears that it didn't save in here...weird. I had a super busy weekend with a crazy schedule on base...A group of my troops are headed on the road so I was out to see them off and support their families at 0100 - 0400 in the morning for 3 nights in a row; I am really proud of them. Then we were in the Nevada Day Parade (Picture)and it was a beautiful day. My lesson learned in this was that even with a crazy schedule and no sleep my numbers were still really good. I had a conversation with my Health care team and am going to reduce my insulin to 18 units once a day...AWESOME! Today is the first day at the new dose so I am going to test a few extra times to see how things settle out. I am still just so amazed at how our human machines function and how diet and exercise have the biggest impact on health. I am so grateful for the people in my corner supporting me. I am off to get some coffee and a little breakfast. I hope that everyone has a great week finding the joy on their adventure.
