Diet friendly barbeque style chicken breasts.
Ingredients
Directions
- Mix ketchup and diet cola (like diet Coke) in a medium bowl.
- Arrange 4 chicken breasts in a large skillet, pour ketchup and cola mixture over the top. Ensure that mixture covers chicken on all sides.
- Turn burner to medium heat and cook for 30 minutes, covered, stirring and scraping occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Remove lid and cook an additional 10-15 minutes until chicken is done and sauce sticks to chicken.

I tried this one out last night, and it was fantastic! I did make some adjustments, like a quick dash of pepper to the chicken, red pepper flakes and fresh basil to the sauce. I also used a little less of the cola too. This one is a keeper!

Very good taste my only real concern is how much sugar is in the meal since it uses all that ketchup. I would recommend adding a liberal amount of black pepper, minced garlic and to NOT use the entire can of cola. I think 3/4 of the can should do it.

My Kids and I love it. We substitue tomato sauce instead of ketchup. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and ground pepper for more flavor.

I tries this recipe and it turned out great. All of my family love it. However, instead of using diet cola I used honey instead. overall it was delicious. I did this WW side dish recipe called "Anya salad with mustard, Green beans and bacon" this is only 4 propoints value

Not bad at all, although I did add some fresh garlic and pepper to the sauce, along with a dry rub to the chicken.

Very tasty and satisfying. I used the suggestion of shredding the chicken and this gave me 8 sandwich servings that were low in calories. Great for the budget, also!

Just made this tonight and being from Louisiana we like things spicy. So I sprinkled chicken with Tony's Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning, added bellpepper and onion and we had that cajun kick we love. Was great! Thanks for the recipe.
