Okra Curry

A cholesterol-free dish for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and channa dal. Sauté for 10 minutes then add chopped onions, chilies, salt, turmeric powder. Cook until the oil becomes light reddish brown.
  2. Add chopped okra and cook without lid for 20 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add paprika and ground cumin. Simmer with lid for 15 minutes.
  4. Transfer to a plate and serve with rice.
