More than 100 to lose, who can relate?
Hi Kat,

I’m Amylynn. You may have gained muscle. The scale went up once for me since I started. Usually, I would have felt horrible and went on an eating binge. However, it was different b/c even though the scale went up, the inches & body fat% went down. It had to be muscle. Yay! A “goal outfit” is an awesome idea, too. I should hang it from the pantry door. If I even think about all of the tempting goodies inside, the outfit will be there starring at me, wondering what I could possibly be looking for. LOL!

More than 100 to lose, who can relate?
Welcome to FS!! My best advice is: get a tape measure. I joined Curves about 2 ½ months ago. I have very little time as well and wanted something that I could fit into my busy schedule. I knew (b/c I’ve tried almost every diet on planet earth) that I had to make working out a part of my life like brushing my teeth. I haven’t lost very much weight. BUT… I have lost plenty of inches (21 in 2 ½ months). In a 2 week period, I lost 3” from my horrible jiggle arms. That’s one of many “trouble” areas that I HATE!!!! I got more motivation from the inches than the numbers on the scale. It just showed me all of my hard work wasn’t in vain. My clothes are getting bigger. I can see my muscles developing and I feel great! Of course, I would love to see the scale go down more. I just remind myself… no matter how small the progress, it is still progress.

Hey Ya'll
This is what I call motivational support! I'm so excited to be a part of fatsecret. It's that extra something that I've been missing.

Hey Ya'll
Hey Ya’ll! I’m AmyLynn from NC. I’ll be 34 next Tuesday and weigh 230lbs. This will be the last birthday that I’m overweight. I couldn’t be more serious about my weight loss. Heck, I’ve tried almost possible diet you can think of. Never really got into them 100% and would give up before I even saw real results. This time around, I’m trying something new. Well new to me… eat less, move more. WOW!! What a concept right?! I have issues getting past temptations and frustrations. Fatsecret looks like the place for support! YAY! :0)
