I am a 31 year old woman who was skinny in my young years, but since about 1/2 way through college, has been on the heavy side. My weight would fluctuate, but mostly I've steadily gained until now. When I hit my heaviest, I decided it was time to change, and made the committment to stick it out. That's why I'm here. I'm doing this thing pretty much on my own, but am looking for a network of people on the same journey. Ideally, I would love to be my college weight of 125, but I'm shooting for 140 as of right now. I'm 3 weeks into my regimen, and have lost 4 pounds so far, but didn't start tracking on this site until week 2. I would love to have a motivational buddy to keep me on track, so anyone who is serious and will follow through on what they say they are gonna do, let's do this!
I currently work in the Automotive Industry as a Internal Service Prep Manager/Service Advisor, and have been in this industry for about the last 7 years. I enjoy it for the most part. I live in Madison, WI, so during winter, being that I'm not a huge fan of the weather, I tend to lose motivation to exercise. I am going to start a Zumba class soon. I know my limitations are that I don't like to run/walk/do anything that actually resembles exercise because I'm so heavy, but I've always loved dancing. I was captain of the cheerleading squad in high school, and thought I had a really high metabolism. What I later realized was because I was so active in cheerleading and show choir, I was lean. It had nothing to do with a naturally high metabolism, as proven by my mostly sedentary college years. I wanna be able to do the things I love, and be healthy in the process. Both of my parents have/had heart disease and some pretty major health issues, so I want to try to do my part in avoiding those same conditions. I'm finally ready to commit. Who's with me?

Isagenix
Hey has anyone out there tried this Isagenix thing? I'm curious if it's really a good thing or not. There are a lot of posts about it on FB, and I'm not convinced. Looking to you, fellow weight loss people! Much love and appreciation!
