I'm a 37 yr old mom of 2. My husband and I are now on the same page and both are working out! I love that he is doing this with me now! I'm down 21 pounds but have 49 more to go! I'm only 5'2 so I need to be down to 125-130. If you do the math can can see I have a long way to go. I feel great about the 21 pounds and I know I can and will do this! I want my kids to have a healthy mom as a role model. I'm in this for health reasons and to just feel better. Tipping the scale at 200 was a wake up call. I didn't even realize I had put on so much weight. Working out and eating better are starting to be fun...yes fun!!! Here's to a healthy life!!!!

Thanks. I need to see a podiatrist. My feet also go numb when I do the elliptical. I had platar fasciitis about a year ago..not sure it ever healed right. So i think you are right. I don't ever want that pain again.

So, I'm new at this running thing. I ran 1.26 miles the other day without stopping!!! So proud of myself. Any advice to keep going? I don't want to burn out but I really need to see some results. How long do I stay at a mile? Should I try for 2 miles?How many times a week should I run for the best results? What are good streching exercises for hips? Is it the distance or the pace that burns more calories? And I bought both Nike and saucony (sp) and my feet are killing me??? WHAT SHOES are good shoes???? HELP!!! Thanks!

My clothes are starting to fit better
Congrats!! keep it up! I see a differnce in my clothes too...just wish the scale was moving faster! I like to see the differnce on the scale too. I know it should not matter but it helps! keep going!

Not sure why but i only lost 1 pound in two weeks? I have been working out more than normal too? It's ok. I won't stop...can't!!!! Anyone else get stuck? ...
