Lost so far: 21.0 lb

Current Weight
199.0 lb
Performance: losing 0.8 lb a week

Goal Weight
150.0 lb
Still to go: 49.0 lb
My name is Lyn and I am 63 years old. I need to lose weight as I now have a heart problem and losing at least 50 pounds will make it a lot better. I do not work anymore and I enjoy playing cards (cannister) with my friends during the week. I also like to play mah jongg several times a week. I just recently went back to the gym and started walking on the treadmill. I can walk for 20 minutes. I also started using a stationery bike at the gym. It has peddles that look like the peddles on a stairstepped machine and arm bars that go back and forth as you peddle. All this is done sitting down which is good for me as I am on oxygen 24/7 and can't walk very far at all or very fast. I could really use support getting this weight off. I lost under 10 pounds the first month but so far thats all. Will take advise and encouragement.

More diet talk
I have found 2 new vegetables (for me)that I actually like and will eat this week. Cabbage and cooked spinach. I love raw spinach and I have that just about every day, but I have never tried the cooked spinack. It's really good espically if you mix it with your rice or even potatoe. I'm going to also try to make some stuffed cabbage using ground turkey or ground chicken. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out.

plateau
That sounds great, however I have some medical issues. I am on oxygen 24/7. I go to gym early most days and walk on the treadmill for 15 minutes (half mile) and I ride a bike for 15 minutes. Thats 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week. At first my weight loss was good but now I hit periods where I don't seem to be losing any weight. Some times I stay the same for a week or more. I have lost todate 25 pounds and I have 25 more to go. Got any suggestions?

Work Out times - input please?
I go to a gym and walk on the treadmill for 15 to 20 minutes and then ride a stationary bike for 15 minutes. I'm a heart patient and I'm on oxygen 24/7 so I can't do long times or very fast times but my weight losses are better when I do this then when I don't. I've learned to set schedules when I do things each day and this is part of my daily routine in the morning. I exercise almost every day after eating breakfast. That way I come home and get a shower and go do whatever I want without having to worry that I haven't gotten my exercise in each day. It's only about 30 to 45 minutes a day and it really gives me some much needed energy.

difficulty entering information
I'm having so much trouble using this website. I have contacted technical service for help and all I get back is how sorry they are that I'm having a prob;em. I can't enter my weight. I haven't been able to since I first put it in and that was back in November I believe. Has anyone else been having trouble with this website? I have never been able to get my meals entered. And I have a fairly new computer, so I know it's not that. Can anyone help. I'd really like the support, but I don't know what else to do but stop gpiong into this website if someone can't explain the secret to entering information.Confused
