Denial-driven about calories consumed, but complaining that my jeans don't fit, realtiy focused therapist who can go Jillian on everyone but herself. And now its my turn. Mid thirties, happily married, love my job and life overall gal who just really really really loves good cheese, crusty bread, smoky red wines, and olive oil. Add some fruit and you have my final meal in life.

I did not look at her profile, just read a comment about someone who was feeling bad. So here is the disclaimer..talk with your doctor, your mom, your dad, your grandparent, whomever is raising you and let them know how you are feeling. Since they are in your everyday life, they can better help you with the situation than all of us can. We are all just a bunch of folks trying our best with the information we have. And ignore people who call you mean names...that's there stuff not yours. But seriously...you did a brave thing reaching out on a nutrition web site, I want to encourage you to talk with an adult in your life who can give you some perspective. Good luck in being a healthy person...and healthy and skinny are not the same thing. remember that.

I understand how you feel..I COMPLETELY understand. Take one meal and focus on eating healty and fulfilling. Then take the next meal. Somewhere in the day, make a goal of walking for 10 minutes, see how you feel. If you feel up to it, walk five more. I can feel so overwhelmed so fast with trying to lose weight, and sometimes, making it one small step is so much easier than saying "god I have to lose fifty freaking pounds!!!" Good luck, you can do it. One small step...

Working out...
I thought I would bust out with p90x...but after 20 minutes of Zumba, I was sucking wind and realized, I am going to have to move into working out wiht some respect for where I am starting from. So I broke it down to 20 min zumba and 20 of zumba abs. Tonight I will 20 more of zumba and 20 more of abs. That way I am getting a full hour and a little extra. As I get in more shape I will extend morning workout and turn the evening into a walk to unwind. And I have told myself, "This doesn't make you a wimp or a loser, it just shows that your body hasn't been challenged and has to rebuild." Good luck to others!
